Our 1/10th universal Scale & Pit Board is the perfect addition for your at home workshop and for your pit spot at the track! With a size of 17 x 17.5 x 1.0625 in (LxWxH), it's hard to find a 10th scale car that won't fit on here! It has four slots to lineup your SKYRC Wireless Scales to the perfect dimensions for the SC wheelbase. Even with extra left and right rear toe, our board stays compatible. This board was designed to tune, build, and fix 10th scale based cars including Losi, Team Associated, Traxxas, GFRP, and many more 10th scale chassis!

Due to the size of the board, there are 5 pieces total. You don’t have to worry about them at all, as they will be securely put together before they ship out to you.

Notches aren’t present on the outside corners of the scale slots unlike our other boards. This is because there is no need due to the larger scale openings.

The stand cover also has a notch on it, explaining the two additional holes in the center of the board. Since the level was in the middle, the screws had to be offset. The notch makes sure the cover can only go on when lined up correctly. The screws are diagonal to provide more equal clamping pressure compared to two vertical, aligned screws.

The board comes with a built-in bolt tray, four scale covers, and one stand cover. The middle cover, aka the stand cover, can be removed to perfectly hold our 4-inch MRP stand bottom. This bottom can be paired with a multitude of stand tops perfectly formed to your car.

Under this cover also lies a bullseye level. Why is this important you may ask? Wonderful question! Although you can get a “good enough” reading with an unleveled board, it actually does change how the weight is distributed. If the surface is not level the weight distribution is altered and has no zero/home point, no matter the direction of imbalance. Therefore the weight reading on your scales has a factor that most don’t even consider to check, and it wont be entirely accurate unless fixed. The built in bullseye level will help eliminate this factor as long as you take the time to utilize the feature. Now for an explanation, think of your full scale car or truck parked on a hill. If the front of your vehicle is facing down the hill, more weight will be placed on the front tires. This is because gravity acts straight down, and the center of gravity of the vehicle being altered. There are some physics equations to figure out exactly how much more force is applied to the tires based on wheelbase, height of CoG, weight of vehicle, and the slope angle, but that’s uber boring. This is an exaggerated situation, but the same idea does still apply to your RC car and the surface you scale it on.

The scale and stand covers all come with a brass insert and a corresponding bolt for each one. This provides a clean, durable thread to keep the covers from clunking around or falling out during travel! On the topic of brass inserts, the sides are lined with them. This is because you can customize your board to your liking. Accessories are available to make your board as practical as possible.

There are also multiple color customization options. By default, and for no extra charge, you can customize your board bolt tray inserts, scale covers, stand cover, and letters with whatever color you want from our selection! You will be able to change the top color of the board to whatever color you want from our color catalog for an additional $15 up charge. The board base color will be black by default, but it can be changed to any color from our catalog for an up charged price of $30.
